We’re not reporting on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock because we feel it’s important news. We’re reporting on the incident to show how pathetic it is from another angle.
Regardless if the attack on Chris Rock by Will Smith was staged or not, it should not have been allowed on live tv…unless they planned it that way…more distractions anyone?
The group that oversees the Academy Awards on March 28 said it will carry out a “formal review” after actor Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock during the March 27, 2022 awards ceremony on live tv.
“The Academy condemns the actions of Mr. Smith at last night’s show,” said the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in a statement. “We have officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our Bylaws, Standards of Conduct, and California law.”
A FORMAL REVIEW? Here’s the review – on live tv, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, which is physical assault and against the law.
The statement comes after a late-night Twitter post in which the Academy wrote that it “does not condone violence in any form.”
A motion picture company that doesn’t condone violence in any form, although they make millions from movies containing violence (and Will Smith was not arrested.)
That investigation could see Smith ejected from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences or suffer a suspension from the group and its events. It’s not clear whether Smith will have to hand back his Best Actor Oscar for “King Richard,” which he won just minutes after the alleged slapping incident.
If this attack was real, Will Smith should NOT have been allowed to speak and cry over his Oscar on stage after attacking Chris Rock. Punishment needs to be dealt right as the act happens.
What if a fan, a “regular person” rushed the stage and slapped Chris Rock, or God-forbid, Will Smith. Apologies for containing “God” in the same sentence as Will Smith.
If the attack was real, this was a crime; a violent act. Going unpunished shows how they want these “stars” to be worshipped.
Will you continue to view Will Smith movies? I stopped years ago.
Will Smith will not be reprimanded and will continue to appear in movies – would you hire him?
Will Smith Attack Chris Rock And Gets Away With It
Before the confrontation, Chris Rock was delivering a monologue during a presentation and made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. “Jada I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” Chris Rock said as the camera cut to Pinkett Smith, who appeared to roll her eyes.
Here’s what happened next…what the lying news media said…
“Then Will Smith appeared to slap the comedian before he returned to his seat and yelled, “Keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth.”
Yes folks, Will Smith “appeared” to slap Chris Rock hard. It was on live tv for all to see…there was no “appeared to happen.”
For his part, Chris Rock declined to press charges against Smith over the slapping incident, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program,” the police department told CNN and other news outlets in a statement on March 28. “The incident involved one individual slapping another. The individual involved has declined to file a police report. If the involved party desires a police report at a later date, LAPD will be available to complete an investigative report.”
Chris Rock has not issued a public statement following the incident.
While it’s not clear if the incident was staged, Will Smith issued an apology during his Oscar award acceptance speech. However, he didn’t mention Chris Rock or apologize to him.
Will Smith said: “I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all of my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment and I’m not crying for winning an award. It’s not about winning an award for me; it’s about being able to shine a light on all of the people.”
I have to say, Will Smith has had issues and continues to prove so. Remember the time during awards a handful of years ago when Will Smith raged about black people not winning enough awards? Always the race card.

After attacking Chris Rock, Will Smith talks about God…obviously not the same God…more live satan, which is what they worship.
“I got to protect Saniyya [Sidney] and Demi [Singleton], the two actresses that played Venus and Serena. I’m being called on in my life to love people and to protect people and to be a river to my people.”
Will Smith is some piece of work. He’s being called in life to love people and be a river to his people (more race card?)
The Oscars FINALLY achieve Jerry Springer status. Next year we can guess “who is the father” until Chris Rock opens the envelope.
Typical bunch of liberals. Chris Rock spews meanness directly to a person’s spouse. Will Smith not only can’t take a joke, but is violent. Had a conservative done what Will did, it would be headline news for two weeks.
The facts don’t change.
Will Smith went thug on National TV and Hollywood is singing his praises.
He should be in jail even without charges by Rock.
There was an assault and in front of at least a dozen or so people watching on TV.
If he were a white man, there wouldn’t even be this conversation and America even liberals know that.
Aside from this comic relief entertainment, what dastardly crap is going down while we are all distracted by this nonsense?
Another example of the typical emotional outburst they are all so famous for. Whether on the street or in a formal setting, it doesn’t matter to them. Pathetic behavior as expected and unfortunately we have grown accustomed to it. No surprises here.
Chris Rock didn’t know about Will Smith’s wife’s condition.
Even Mia Farrow interviewed after, was like, “I like GI Jane2!… it was a joke.”

All media networks are absolutely exhausted because they’re reporting on THIS 24 hours since it happened.
They can’t run on anything interesting because of Beijing joe and unless it’s negative press about DJT they have nothing interesting to talk about. So this is all that’s left? I haven’t watched the Oscars, probably in 15 to 20 years or more.
Whether the attack on Chris Rock by Will Smith was staged or not, this act should not have been shown on live tv, unless it’s all part of their agenda. Think about it.
