Do you sensor your writing?

I’m a very honest person. I never used to be outspoken. That changed over the years as people took advantage of my “niceness.” I also never back down from someone being a jerk to me or others.

If you have a story, do you censor it? Do you not write it? Be it a blog or website, what do you do? If you’re a comedian, do you not tell a certain joke? That must be hard.

I had an episode where someone was upset by what I wrote. As kids, their brother was a bit of a bully. Although not much of a threat, still, a bully. Their cousin was a bully. I hate bullies. I hate anyone who treats others like crap. I hate anyone taking advantage of anyone else and I’ll call them out on it.

Don’t get me wrong, I love sarcasm and quick wit, but not at the expense of someone else.

So, do you think before you write? Meaning, should you write at all? I will and you should too. Note that it’s only nice to conceal real names.
